Intradyn Introduces New User Experience and Features in AOS 7
To deliver a more seamless and user-friendly solution, the Intradyn team proudly announces the launch of AOS 7.1 —a fully redesigned and enhanced archiving experience.
Introducing the AOS 7 Series
The AOS 7 series marks a major upgrade in our archiving solution, built on a robust new architecture and optimized for virtual machine deployments. This initial release, AOS 7.1, brings a range of powerful new features, including streamlined data migration, advanced search capabilities, and an enhanced onboarding experience that simplifies initial setup.
New Onboarding Interface
The Onboarding Interface is a new feature in AOS 7.1, designed to make the setup process seamless and user-friendly. When users start the appliance for the first time, they’re guided through essential configuration steps, ensuring all key settings are applied from the beginning.
Onboarding steps include:
- Accepting the EULA: Review and agree to the End User License Agreement.
- Product Key & Registration: Enter the product key and complete registration.
- Outgoing SMTP Setup: Configure SMTP for notifications and alerts.
- Time & NTP Settings: Set the time zone and enable NTP.
- Admin Password Setup: Set an admin password and apply password requirements.
- Optional Warm Standby Setup: Configure as a warm standby if needed for failover support.
Key New Features

Advanced Search Terms for Precise Filtering
This release introduces new filters to refine searches, enabling users to locate data faster:
- To / Cc / Bcc: Search by specific email recipient fields.
- Ingress Source: Filter by email delivery method (fetcher, SMTP, or import).
- Communication Type: Narrow searches to emails, chats, or SMS messages.
- Additionally, users can now sort search results by the recipient’s address.
